i have found a new baby and to do so i need to sell mine

i dunno how many people here want a race car but...

89 civic Si hatch (WRX rally blue)
-b16a1 160 hp japanese motor swap - completely built with cams, cam gears etc.
-intake, headers, exhaust
-fully adjustable top of the line racing suspension (yes lowered)
-15 inch spoon racing wheels with dunlop tires
-carbon fiber hood

the car is in great shape - the odo reads 220K but the motor has around 100K

turns in mid 14 second QM times and will beat most mustangs.

i found a new baby today and want to put a deposit down. im selling it for $10,000 and being reasonably firm due to the amount of time and money invested in building this car.

lemme know if youre at all interested. and if you need to ask a second opinion...ask specialkonrd who whooped his ass last week.

who did your swap, where'd u get the b16, can u be more specific with the "etc". how's the mileage documented, or is this one of those "oh it's got about 100k or so" translation: i have no idea, and i've shit kicked it.

stock 5.0's... STOCK.. ran 14's in the fox body year

with very few mods... which most already have they are an easy 13 second car

First race i had a bad start so his civic beat me by about 4 car lengths
Second race i launched good and by the end his back bumper was a meter from my front.
But yeah props for making a civic go that fast heh

It's very hard to keep a rustang in good condition dude. Very few of them will run 14s anymore. I've taken v8 5.0l firechickens by alot. It's all abotu maintanance.

I know he has Koni yellow suspension, strut tower bars on front and rear. I dont remember what brand intake.

i must say.... that white one isn't all that bad.
it's just.... it's prolly done to the tits and running 13's

when i start doing my mustang out... it'll go 12's .... then down to 11's

for the same price as yoru carbon fiber hood

j/k but you KNOW your lucky if you see 13's... and you'll never see anything quicker

but hey i can give respect where its needed... and that's a pretty nice civic.

with the gas the way it is..... i might buy an s2000 in about a year with my inheritance.

ok here goes:
(98 civic DX body)
-2000 JDM integra type R b18c5 motor
-2000 type r tranny with limited slip
AEM ecu upgrade
-AEM Cold air
DC sports header back exhaust
-skunk2 cams and adjustable cam gears
-AEM fuel pressure regulator and fuel rail
-port and polished head

this motor is done. keep in mind it is N/A with no turbo or NOS and running mid 13's

you never know the mileage on a swapped motor - bacause you dont get the guage cluster when you get it. when i got it it had around 60,000 on it and that was two years ago. it came from another hatch like mine that the guy wrote off. my buddy adam and i did the swap ourselves, took about 14 hours, drive in and drive out. saved a lot of cashe thatway - and its a very good job. many pros cant even get it in exactly straight.

it has tru time cam gears, obx intake, ractive headers and apex'i N1 exhaust, and yes it has limited slip. the tranny needs a bit of work, but only new linkage bushings to tighen stuff up a bit.

the car is running fabulously. i had future plans for it, but i have now got my eyes on something a little....uhhhhhh....pricier?
