online photo galleries..

I just got a digital camera.

I would now like to post my photos online and I don't know where to post them except flickr.com, but I'd have to make a Yahoo! account.

what other sites are out there that you all use? any pros and cons?

I think they are smart enough to figure out what else is on the site.

soo, i doubt they would search the site for anything , they would be hear to look at your pictures and nothing else,

there aint much else on this site anyways

I am asking for a photo gallery site only, something that can also catorgize my pictures if I choose to have them by event.

so what are you worried about?

I want to know stuff like,

do others have to be a member to see my photos... or is it public?
can I tag photos aswell for easy search?
can I catagorize photos by event?
is there a max amount of photos I can upload?

and personal pro's and con's about it.

Comments are available. Uh huh.
Organize by Albums. Indeed!
Max amount, I can't remember.
Set the Folder to Public for all to see.

I've been using it to link Images on Forums and share Photos with my Friends out East for about two Years now. No real problems with it.

i've always liked flickr

Same dealy - tagging categorizing, albumizing, and something like a 20/day limit though.

Nice options for auto-html posting in blogs, myspaces, and LJs too...
