that's the place i loved so much. i just found it this summer and it's amazing. that and Tojos. i forgot about that place.

reminds me there is one in north van on lonsdale(im so bad with the name) but its on 15th and lonsdale so yummy. i use to eat there all the time when i lived out there.

mmmmm.... sushi! Fish on Rice in Burnaby... so good. there's also a couple of places in richmond that i occasaionlly frequent at lunch time since i work out here. cant remember what they're called.
except i havent been to a sushi place out in bc yet that has the amazing bean sprout salad. i love that stuff, i even learned how to make it. yum.

unfortunately, the original japanese owner sold out ~2 yrs ago.
current owner is non-japanese .
it ain't the same no more.

i knew it!!!! i was sort of confused when i went there a while ago and the experience wasnt the same and the food was a little bland

Shitty service? I've never had problems with it.

They have a stipulation that they can make any roll spicy.

I highly recommend a Spicy Andy Warhol.

Kedoya is bloody wicked. Deep fried Banana roll... mmmmmmmmm

Best AYCE I've found is probably tanpoppo on Denman... the salmon there is like freaking candy.

oh i forgot to mention fish on rice, in burnaby only cause nathan has taken me to it..i hope thats the name...i really want to kneel in the boths tho hehehehe.... (but you have to have large parties to do that)

A few of the worst sushi joints i've ever been to have been mentioned in this thread (fish on rice[new management], kisha poppo)

The best sushi i've tried in Vancouver is this little place off Kingsway called Van-Ya - it's on Harold street right by the London Drugs.
The quality of the food is amazing, it's always packed but they have really strange hours.
