Digital Cameraaaaaa

okay so here comes some really dumb talk....but I dropped my digital camera lastnight and now its got like this big black thing above all the pictures, and the pictures are sucky and blurry and grainy.

Can this be fixed or is my camera Le shit now? Anyone else suffered this?

take it to your place of purchase to see if repairs are possible... most likely it's a neat looking paper weight at this point though.

Is there any marks or dents on the lens? What you're describing sounds like lens damage, which isn't repairable on a point-and-shoot camera. One of my old digitals died because I dropped it while turned on, and it landed right on the lens.

not that I can see...aaahhh this sucks! i just got it too. frikin helll lol...so if I take it back to where I got it, you think they can look at it and tell or what? Im nto sure if its lens related or not, if I like squeeze it in cetain spots and smack it before i take a picture, it will take a better photo haha

im assuming it's just a regular digicam, which can be had for $100-$150 depending on specifically what you want.

repair would cost near that, i'd say just cough up for a new cam or snag one on craigslist.

If it's still under warranty... I would take it back where you got it, and whine and complain about how you were using it normally and it just randomly decided to go wonky and take crazy pics. Don't mention anything about dropping it, they'll be pretty hard pressed to prove neglect if there's no outside/physical damage.
