the mythbusters last night was pretty alright, most of the shark myths where pretty bogus like the great white shark one, in the extremely unlikely event that it bit you, poking the eyes could work, but that could potentially just make it more curious, that mixed with the blood that's spewing from you, if it didnt finish you off another shark would.

(that's 20 years of study right there!)
