girls cant be colorblind because the gene that determines weather one is colorblind is carried ONLY by women but is ALWAYS recessive.
didn't they teach u that in gr 10 science?
If you have a history of colorblindness in your family, and you have a daughter and a son, your daughter will gaurentee'd not be colorblind because the gene is recessive in women but your son might

Konrad, I know what your talking about... But still its not true!!

I know for a fact that I am colored blind besides talking like all those stupid color blind test pon the net.. Becasue I literally have trobles seeing the color black..I see it a green usually.. but thats just on example.. so theres ALWAYS acceptions :P

just because it's a recessive trait doesn't mean that it still cannot be inherited by women. in the most common form of color vision deficiency, there are actually about 8% of men who are red-green colorblind and less than 1% of women who are red-green colorblind.

and it's not ALWAYS recessive. and all you need is one homozygous recessive condition for the color blindness to occur. it may be very rare, but certainly not impossible.
