Konrad- I know your not the one going 160, but you seem to think thats ok, since you think hes the only one whos not an idiot in this thread. Im sure youve done way faster than you got busted for that ticket anyway. Im not just talking about these two times you guys got tickets, im talking about driving at excessive speed in general. If you can honestly tell me that youve never drivin dangerously (which i wouldnt believe anyway...), then good for you. All im saying is driving really fast increases the chance at fucking people up. So dont drive like a moron. That is all. If that doesnt make sence then you need to get your heads checked. |

1.) for the cop, he must have thought he was in a 4x4 because he wasnt even on road.. or on a sidestreet cause there werent any .. off the road behind beside some bushes...
2.) if an animal ran out and i killed it, so fucking what? thats your arguement? that an animal might run out?? You can be going 50 and a squirl can run across the road and you can kill it.. 3.) And if was back there tonight, i would do 160 again, why? because its safe. |

Thats not what were trying to do, INNOCENT PEOPLE DIE IN CAR CRASHES. That is not some far fetched idea that i pulled out of the sky. Whether its the typical kid chasing a ball on the street, or a loss of control and smashing into oncoming traffic and killing a family of 5 or whatever. My point is, everyone who gets into accidents like that, feels that they are good judges of their car, conditions blah blah blah. I know this wont make you change how you drive, but dont expect sympathy if one of those "rare" situations happens to you and you end up wrapped around a pole.
Im not trying to be an ass, just make you people realise that uncontrollable shit happens, and everytime you speed excessivly the risk of that stituation become fatal get higher. Get it? |

I get your arguement, however lots of people vary in judgement.. thats what im trying to say.... some people pretend they know what they are doing and some people actually know what they are doing... and i do have good judgement because i am a very aware driver.. i dont weave in and out of traffic like a fucking moron... i know when its okay to speed and when its not okay.. if you ever drove with me you would see that too... but you havn't so you cant evaluate my driving or my decision making... i agree with you that some people are idiots...

I have the suspension on my car done nicely. In dry weather it handles like its on train rails. I'd have to be going STUPID fast to not be able to avoid something on a clear empty road in the middle of the night. I cant say i could tell you wtf would happen if a squirl was to run out in front of my car at 160kph, but my buddy smoked a racoon at some ridicous speed and it ended up stuck in his front bumper near the radiator (same car as me) and falling out some 50km later |

Matt you just got your license. Give yourself some experience behind the wheel and you're gonna notice yourself driving over the speed limit without even noticing it.. whether it be 5km over or 20.
Not everyone is an idiot when they drive. I drive at the speed which I feel comfortable.. If the conditions allow it, sure I drive faster than I probably should but hey, if there's no one else around to put in danger other than myself, I really don't care. If I speed and get into an accident I KNOW its my own damn fault. But it hasn't happened yet and I don't plan on that changing. You guys are all so worried about getting your OWN point across that you're not taking the time to actually read the comments you're replying to. Everyone is repeating themselves in this thread. THAT is idiotic. |

so wait...
this offset guy is telling us how to drive, and he just got his license?? I may have only gotten mine like 60,000km ago but i think you dont even have the experience to tell us what is safe and what is not. You don't know the limits of your car until you've wrecked it, which i have (understeered into concrete barrier going downhill in the rain...wasn't even going that fast but car was full of people so mementum caused it i suppose. Broken tie-rod, bent strut, fucked steering rack, entire side of car dented and scratched, and various other lil things. $400 body damage and the other shit was like 600-800$ altogether. I didn't go thru icbc). I feel i have a VERY good idea of what my car can and cant do after that night |
