WISDOM TEETH PULLED!!! ouch
OMG, I never thought it would be so much pain. My face is swelled up like a chipmunk. It sucks. For anyone else that has had their wisdom teeth pulled, how long before it stops hurting, and how long until the swelling goes away???

mine never hurt, i didnt even crack the bottle of t-3's.. and when tehy toook them out tehy were still embedded in my jaw.....
i found that not talkin helped alot, and sleep. just take the medicine they gave you and follow the rules. everything always feels better the next day.

Yeah, well I'm on my second day, and it's a little better. I was taken the t-3's and realized, they just made me feel sick. So I stopped taken those. But I'm taken the rest of the shit they put me on. It sucks when food is one of my favorite things, and I'm stuck eating yogurt, and pudding. GRRR... What I would do to eat a steak right now. yum...

you're not supposed to eat any dairy products, it leaves a film in your mouth
yeah mine didn't hurt either no swelling and only some bleeding, i only took a few t3's, but i don't think they work too well. i was eating cupcakes that night! :P the worst part will be the holes left over and food getting stuck in them, mine are about half closed now, and i had the operation done a month and a half ago! try Advil (ibuprofen), that worked a hella lot better than t3's, for me anyways (max. 2400 mg/24hr!) have fun

I have 6 wisdom teeth, the denstist said he's never seen that before
he just took one out not too long ago, the funny thing is I'm still bleeding from it to this day, I should really go back and see whats up with that not normal I wake up in the morning and spit out blood, its been 3 weeks take ibuprofin and the pain will go away take 400 mg's AGROout

dairy products are okay as long as you're doing the salt rinse.
i had all 4 of mine out spring break. wasn't too fun, but it gets better. and when you can eat real food again, my god it's soooo good! there wasn'ttoo much pain for me, i was on painkillers, anti biotics and anti inflammatory things so the swelling was minimal. if the swelling is still buggin you, try putting some ice in a bag, then put a wash cloth around it and hold it to your cheeks for 20 minutes per a cheek, then switch. that helped me =) you'll be feeling better in no time. the holes take about a month to heal up, but they arne't too bad. mine are closed, now just waiting for the bone at the top to go back to normal.

the intense pain when you spit will be around for about a week. i recommend eating all your pills in the first 3 days and then going back for more (if they gave you the little multipliers with em, remember to eat them about a half hour before you take the actual pain killer, you get the fastest results that way)

Yeah, well it's day 5 now, and still can't eat much. The pain has almost gone away, still taking advil. I can't talk much, and can't eat, which sucks. How long before the stiches come out, and how long before I can eat real food again???

umm.. the stitches just kinda disappear after 7-14 days, so give it a few! mine got really annoying, one was just irritating me sooooo badly, i was happy when it was gone.
real food, that might take a while. it was about 2 weeks before i could eat things like meat again (and even that was difficult at times) Just remember, now you've got it done, you'll never have to get it done again :D

from my observations (i'm gettin mine out in 2 weeks) the people that go under are basically fucked up afterwards...
my buddy stayed awake for his operation...and athough i think it emotionally scared him, he was out drinkin beer the next night spittin blood's not bad if you're drunk i guess...i dunno i'm gettin put under tho...after my root canal there's no way i'd last through the operation can't STAND having my mouth open for that long...soooo uncomftorbal (root canal - 4 and a half hours [awake] bouged afterwards tho...made the pain go away for a bit)

LOL, it's not too too bad, just make sure your not planing on any major parties or anything like that for at least 4 days after. Unlike me, I got called in the next morning, cause 3 people called in sick, so I had to go in. That was hell!!!

i have to get mine out cuz they're growing in sideways??
but will i have to take out my labret to get them taken out? cuz tha last time it took it out for a coupel of hours, it grew over and i had to repeirce it myself with a safety pin -s.
