Don't get me wrong, MSN has a lot of great features, but I find ICQ MUCH less annoying. For instance, why do people feel the need to let everyone know their life story via their online name, which they feel they have to change every five minutes?

Not to mention that it's a Microsoft product. Remember that scene in the South Park movie where they bring Bill Gates to the Military Command Center and blow his brains out? My friend cheered at that part.

OK my 2 cents MSN is what I figure the best even though some of the microsoft integrated shit is annoying but oh well..

ICQ is nice but damn is it ever getting outdated and just kinda slow I find it

ICQ will always be a better protocol... it was pretty slow back in the day but thanks to broadband who cares?

i use MSN mostly now because no one uses ICQ anymore but i've still got ICQ set up in Trillian... sure, all 13 people on my ICQ list use MSN now too, but it's the thought that counts.

as far as clients go, Trillian Pro is easily the most dominatingly awesome IM client in the business.

I have all three and I don't have any real preference. I've had icq the longest...and I'd say one of icq's ups is the icqlite applet, it's nice to be able to use that at work, etc. as far as i know, msn and aim don't have relaible programs to do either.

I don't have enough people on my msn list [because i avoided it for years], and I'm cool, so add me: [email protected]

like most people said icq is oldschool but tats the way i like it. and i like the fact that u can send a shit load of stuff at once unlike msn where u can only send a file at a time. But i do like msn cause u only have to press enter to send messages and that you know when their typing. You ever sit there waiting for some slow ass to respond to you on icq and your like fuck is he gonna respond or what. Overall though i perfer icq

MSN..because it dosn't have bugs that destroy my computer..its easier to use, i can use it at work, and it dosn't crash every six months and deleate all the contacts on my list.
