in which case, rhiannon wins for best original.

the requiem for a dream thing is just kind of cliche, and not to mention TWO YEARS LATE. as well, the bit from office space would normally elicit a solid vote from me, but considering it's "e-boy's" avatar, something just doesn't sit right. now, after i've looked over the other choices of the entrants in this thread, i'm going to have to vote for smokey.
