Tips for selling on ebay

I know that some of you are on Ebay. I just joined and for the moment, I'm mostly looking to sell (need money before I can start buying!). So I was hoping that some of you could share any tips/suggestions/wise words of advice.

Deffinately some good pictures. And make sure they end at a time when lots of ppl are online like say sunday night.

Also, try to get PayPaL, its very convenient, and its a proven fact people will bid more. As said above, pictures are a MUST too. Since yuo have O refs, make escrow available at the buyer's expense, hope that helped.

-keep on top of the emails

-keep in mind it is cheaper to ship to USA than CAN (small packages that is)

-if you have a lot of auctions ending at once package all items so that they are ready to be shipped immediately after payment is received

-offer combine shipping

-if you are going to list the shipping price in the description make sure to write "$$ for s/h" rather than "$$ for shipping" (that way you can charge a few extra dollars especially when shipping to the USA since the shipping is so inexpensive and a person cannot really leave you negative feedback when discovering the real shipping price)

-international money-orders from people buying in the USA (money orders sent in regular US funds cannot be cashed in Canada)

-no reserve and a low starting price
