What free magazines do we get in Vancouver other than Ion and Vice? Looking not just for local, but ones that are distributed nation wide.

Question: Where can I get Ion and Vice? I've seen them all over the place, but never got the chance to ask where to get one myself.

any little trendy store downtown has them.

but they usually only have them for a few days after they come out, cause they don't get that many.

as for ion, FAB on 4th has 'em too.

yeah i mainly read ion (www.ionmagazine.com), vice (www.viceland.com) and redwire (http://www.redwiremag.com/).

i don't know of any more free publications than that. there was red directions, a first nations business directed magazine that lost it's funding this year. as well some local zines that i used to read.

capital mag and butter magazine- more fashion oriented, both local. pound is canadian but not based here.

LOL when I first say the name of this thread I was thinkgin ION! Lol I havent had a issue for a while, like actually gone out and gotten one myself. hehee I love Ion magazines, soo interesting.

erica, there are so many! like pound, and ... damnit, i'm drunk. capital... you said vice... i picked up a new one called aphid mag. today, and the last time i checked, aphids are the damned things tormenting my mom's rose plant during the summer. although a decent read, DAMN YOU APHIDS.

ahh, there are so many good ones, it's just a shame there are so many people who are reluctant to accept free magazines. :^) oh well, their loss. btw, i heard concise on the beat today, and he was AMAZING. wow. local talent, woot!

fuckin Tribe magazine.......it's a local toronto magazine.....does vancouver not get tribe?...there's a vancouver page written by billy paton and a calgary page................
