yummy!

this greasy spoon has the best food, and really good prices. they have breakfast, lunch and dinner specials. a complete meal for two (including dessert) will usally cost under $15.00.

a friend at work recommened it to me, and ever since my fist visit i have been hooked.

i am so stoked on this place that i tell everybody that i know. i told my friend's girlfriend about it, she laughed and told me that her mom worked there =)~

so if you know what is good for you, hustle on down there. the adress is 2154 austin and it is in coquitlam.

i almost forgot to mention that there is this one funny server who will say "auhfankyou, auhfankyou" after everything you say. hehehe... me and agrodave like to call him ED, but i do not think that it is his real name =)~

Are you talking about the place that's up by the corner store and realty place? I went in there one time with kimmie and I harsh remember that guy saying "ahfankyou" after every single thing I ordered or said. I'd ask for vinegar..."ahfankyou", I'd ask for the bill "ahfankyou", I'd say bye "ahfankyou" that guy is hilarious. We had the breakfast special which was kickass. The hash browns were made with perfection, the eggs weren't over cooked and the entire breakfast was awesome.

Highly recommended as well. :4stars:

hahaha......awesome food for awesome value......but FUCKIN SLOW AS HELL! i swear me and lil_thong went there......waited 5 minutes to get some water......then 10 to actually get our drinks then 10 to order our food.......then 20 to get it!.....i mean yeah i could understand if the pplace was busy.....but it was empty! so expect some what of a wait

Yeah, I have to admit... the quality of the food there is pretty good, especially the breakfast :119: Mmmm... and the prices are great! (within reason)

I would recommend it, the only thing is the atmosphere in there is so dry... and quiet :035:

Yummerz......haven't been there for a looooooong time. I went there for breakfast once....or twice.....remember it being a decent price and decent food.....

Thanx for reminding me of that place.......gotta go check it out sometime soon.......

really me and 3 other peeps went there to eat one time
and we all got salmonella a couple days later i donno i had the breaky special
dont remember what my friends had but we all ended up puking
so i donno if its just me and my 3 friends or is it the place???
im scared of that place now haha

Austin Diner??? You're talking to a hard core veteran of the place.

I remember back in tha day(like '97) when the breakfast was $1.99. Now THAT was a deal. And Combo B(sweet and sour sauce on the side, ALWAYS) was scandalously cheap.

For fuck's sake I used to buy 3 breakfasts with sausage and scrambled(that's the only way to go, you get the most meat that way) and put all that shit on the same plate!!!

That was cheaper than Vincent's mom!!! And I eat that shit all the time!!!

I don't know if it's inflation or not, but the prices have gone up substantially in the 5 years since. I guess everyone knows aboot the place now and they're cashing in on it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still stoked on AD. You can't get a breakfast like that for $2.49.

I juss don't go as much as I used to. I've seen a triple bypass surgery and it's not pretty.
