He wasn't the lead singer... he was the guitarist for both Pantera and Damageplan. His brother, Vinnie Paul, was the drummer for both bands. Imagine watching your own flesh and blood get gunned down in front of your face.

Another band member was killed but I'm unsure as to whether it was the bassist or lead singer.

The four people that died were Dimebag, a roadie, a security guard, and a fan.

It's weird and infuriating. First, that this would happen at a metal concert -- I'd peg that as the last place besides a fucking van island rave that someone would get shot. Second, that now it might give other psychopaths new ideas.
