december '99. And yes it was a cyberhippy party @ mitchel island. Total underground stylee. I remember having to run down an alley way, longside 20 other peeps, after hopping out of the back of a u-haul. The dj's had to stop the music everyonce in a while, 'cause the cops were in the area. There was a guy up on the roof of the venue keeping watch the whole time, and he would signal down once the cops had left. It was pretty intense to say the least.

The night before had been my grad dinner/dance and after party. I slept most of the day, then headed over to Hugh's and we got picked up; a van full of ravers on their way to Chilliwack. When we arrived it was POURING. More people were leaving the venue than were arriving..! It kept on raining, the field turned into a giant mudpit, and no one effing cared. ALL my friends were there, and as far as I was concerned, this was my grad celebration with all my friends who didn't go to my school. There was a flat-deck trailer that people were dancing on as a stage, and people having mudfights. It was mayhem!

Good tunes, good people, good times. Who needs good weather? This party was rad :)

I would name those parties as faves, they were all REALLY GOOD from 2000-2001. You could almost just pick one at random from that list and call it your fave bc they were all THAT good.

Another highlight of my party "career" would have been seeing Hed Kandi live @ Home in Sydney Australia last summer. It was a 4 room club massive running till 7am. Omfg.

My theory is that a lot of the people are posting parties from before they got jaded.

Interstellar Overdrive was the first party where I heard rave-style breaks, which also marked the first time at a party where I was dancing for a reason other than being really fucking high.

Supaseries 2-5 were all dope. I think I said that already. Sweet underground venues, especially 4 and 5 in the basement of a bhuddist temple.

I went to plenty of bad parties in that time too. I said that all those parties LISTED were good parties, and that any one of them could have been called my favourite.

And taking my time before I tried the drugs was a big help too, methinks.

I partied about three years before I started drinking at raves. a year later I was smoking weed.

My first real heavy drug experience at a rave was after I had partied for 6 years.

^ I hear what you're saying but considering the laughable (compared to most ppl) amount of times I did it, I don't think that that made me jaded faster. I don't think how soon I did it does either. I think its the people AROUND me who did e (among other things) that made me jaded. Over time people who act the way e-tards do does wear on you. Guess I should have changed crews I suppose... Eventually they all grew out of it.
