cell phone help?

im buying a phone this weekend.. whats the best deal going right now? i kinda want a cool phone, but its not that important. and id rather have no contract. im so out of the phone loop. help please?

I think the poopular phone right now is the MotoRAZR. You can get it from Rogers for $150, but you do have to sign a contract. I just bought a RAZR but it was part of my Hardware upgrade on my contract

Agreed. But if you go with a monthly plan or contract over prepaid just insure you get enough minutes. It's costly if you under estimate.

The Razor looks cool, but its not a very good phone. Plus ever since Rogers made it so cheap, everybody has it.

As for cellphones: The Razor is slick 'n all, but I've heard the v635 gets better reception and has a longer battery life. I've got a v635 and it's the best damned cellphone I've ever had. I think Rogers will give you a 512MB TransFlash card with a new one which means you can record a shitload of video. Seriously, that's like... 4 hours of video and you could still stuff 200MB of MP3s on it at the same time...

A word of caution for the Razors: Motorola has released the next generation of Razor in Europe and it has a seriously crazy-cool feature that might make you want to hold off on dropping a chunk of coin on a current Razor: Video-Phone-Capability. That's right, it's a frickin' video-phone. Kinda makes the current Razor seem a little pointless, right?

annnnnd...I just got my bill for November, they credited me for $25.00 for no reason. I'm not on a contract, just the 30-day thing...Bell is nice to you. :)
