True story: I'm staying with posh English relatives right now, and knowing this content wasn't going to be "work safe", I watched the whole thing with the sound off. Obviously I could read the text, but I still have no idea what was said during the confrontation.
All I could see was judgement, judgement, judgement. This is one of two faces "journalists" such as this have. The other face they use is the sympathizing nod. That's reserved for the person on the other side of the story, filling the victim role.
Victim: "And then.... my daddy said... that I couldn't see mommy anymore... because... 'she'd gone away!'...."
Reporter: *sad eyes.. head slightly tilted.. slight nod* .. "And how did that make you feel?.."
