Seriously... who doesn't LOOOOVE Ikea!?!?
I just bought a funky chandelier and put it up in my place yesterday... the pic doesn't do it justice cuz the lights are all smoked glass and look hell of cool when they are the only light source at night!
You'll have to excuse the extra wire... it's for adding/taking length and I haven't decided if the height is right yet! |

As for Ikea. I have a love/hate relationship with it. They have cool looking stuff, yes. But when I buy a set of plates (for example). I'd prefer it if ALL the plates were made in the same country. |

I can dig it! The one thing that I get a kick out of though are the amount of people on craigslist trying to sell off Ikea stuff for way more than an average second hand good just because it's from Ikea. I was hunting for a couch a couple weeks ago and ran into about 15 different sellers who were convinced that their Klippan couch was worth $250, don't think so!

Ikea: Swedish for "one-piece-missing".
Ikea: where the hieroglyphics they give are undecipherable in any language. Ikea: Swedish for "out-of-stock". Ikea: a place NOT to eat at. I despise Ikea. I've been through the trade-test far too many times! And, FUCK IKEA for making their places such a fucking lab-rat maze that forces you to travel further than naturally need be and made to look at every stinkin' product they can shove in your face! Frosty (hates Ikea) |

Ikea sucks ass! Low quality throw away furniture? Not for me thanks!
My kitchen table and chairs are solid oak and are 20+ years old. They are in perfect shape and will last another 50 years I have no doubt. Rather than buying a bunch of shit at Ikea every 3 or 4 years you should try buying one signature item a year. |
