Getting A Kitten!
I've wanted a freaking cat for so long and I think the time as finnaly arived where my parents are going to let me adopt a cat. We went to the spca the other day and it just broke my heart to leave and not take something home. All the poor animals just looked to sad and like they wanted to be loved so I talked to my parents and they said if I wanted her I had to buy her and pay for everything myself. I have no problum with that she just need's to be loved and I can't wait to freaking go pick her up!
This is my new baby! Last edited by Ashley*Dawn; Apr 07, 07 at 09:39 AM. |

Getting my lil cat from the SPCA was the best thing that has ever happened to me :) They totally change your life b/c now this lil animal is forever going to be dependant on you.
Welcome to parenthood lol :) That's awesome what you are doing! |

I've had my cat for over a year and I got him from the SPCA when he was 5 months. He is strictly an indoor cat so I thought that I didnt need a collar for him but after reading what happened to Miss Marz's cat I went to get a collar w/ a tag for mine as things can just happen. I tried to put it on him and he thought that I was punishing him. He got all upset and started to almost whimper and cry. And he was trying to hide. This is totally my fault b/c I didn't put one on him in the begining. So now that he is use to being free and not having anything around his neck he doesn't want it.
As your cat is still young it would totally be a smart move to think about getting a collar for her. I understand that you aren't allowed pets where you live, however things just happen. Allison is right about the window thing also, worse senario if someone were to break into the house or a friend leaves the door open out goes the kitty. :( Just something to think about. I always worry about mine b/c he is like my baby and I'm the over protected mum lol |
