Ok, so here's the deal.

Hour 1: Tobias C. Van Veen

tobias c. van Veen currently lives in Montréal, Quebec
and is pursuing an MA in Communications at McGill on
the politics of electronic music, although he hails
from the West Coast of Canada. He has been enmeshed
with musikal resistance culture since 1993, DJing
cutting-edge forms of techno, house, and electro,
often on three turntables and with the infusion of
tricks, cut-ups, and experimental techniques. He has a
taste for dramatic minimalism, dub, and Detroit,
although he considers himself a "collector" of many
forms of vinyl transmissions, from funk to musique
concrete. tobias likes manual typewriters, minimalism,
very loud sounds, black squares, espresso &
ginnantonnix, and freeskiing. He bemoans the fact that
his life is so complicated.

Those who, know him as a blue hat, three turntables,
and an attitude. He's a lovely boy sometimes and he
was techno in this town for many years.

Apparantly he tore the lotus a new acid house last
night, so he's joining us on air for some proper
rinsin techno business.
