Drunk driving

At about 8 am yesterday morning my family got a call from my grandparents with some terrible news from my small hometown of Pincher Creek Alberta, my cousin and his girlfreind 3 of my very good freinds were in a serious car accident the night before, my cousin was killed in the crash, and 3 of the four of my freinds are in crittical condition, his girlfreind recieved serious head trauma, and is now in a coma. apperently my cousin was the driver of the car also, and was drunk and wasnt wearing a seatbelt, when i heard all this i just kinda went into shock, it was kind of surreal, like a dream almost, i just felt so terrible for my auntee and uncle, he was only 16 years old and had a very bright future ahead of him, i couldnt imagine why he did this. I pretty much raised that kid, we were always together before i moved. I cant imagine if his girlfreind wakes up from that coma only to here her boyfreind of 2 years was gone. i still cant believe this shit, i havent even be able to sleep or eat since then. such a waste... So I just want everyone to really think the next time before get in a vehicle drunk or with someone that is drunk, it doesnt matter how good of a drunk driver you think you are, shit can happen that is outta youre hands and its just not worth it at all.

wow I'm so sorry to hear that. I've lost 5 friends to drunk driving, and it's horrible. Losing someone is so hard, especially when the person is so young. Anyways, i hope more people read this thread. Drinking and driving is stupid, ppl never learn

Car accidents seem to be on the rise BIG TIME.
Just this morning I read about a really bad accident that happened in my general area late last night, 2 of the 3 passengers died- and they were all in their 20's. :275:

Im so sorry. What a terrible shock.

Everytime I hear these type of stories I get so weepy.. I have a younger brother who I always imagine behind the wheel. Ugh.

thanks for the kind words people, im really amazed how the small town really pulled together as a community for this tradgedy, funeral is gonna have everyone in town there.
