My doggy
My dog Teeka may have to be put down. Shes 7 years old and was my first and only dog. We have had some great adventures together but 7 years isnt nearly long enough! Two neighbor dogs dug under our fence and attacked my dog from underneath leaving it with its teeth hanging from its mouth and her jaw broken (possibly) The Vet said if they can save her she will have no teeth but its infected and doesnt look very good. So much for the concrete fence we installed to keep those bastard dogs out of my parents yard.
UGH! |

sorry to hear that bud.
my cat's 18 and shes gona have to be put down soon too, not cos of some fucker dogs, but cos shes 18, and she has cancer, arthritis, osteoperosis, and she's deaf. (the latter is the most irritating problem of all, considering she cant hear herself meow, so she just kindof yowls really lowdly and shrilly. not pleasant) if you ever need a shoulder to cry on, you got one here pal. |

But yah anyway. That's awful about your dog. If your dog does lives you should totaly find a way to make your neighbours pay for the vet bills. Especialy since you knew in advance that your dog needed to be protected from them. And you had to put a stronger fence in place to prevent this. |

To everyone who's had a pet pass away:
I just want to extend my heart out to you... It really truely makes me sad, because I know they take everything that you give them and never ask for anything in return. Loyalty and devotion that is absolutely irreplacable... Pets learn from you as you learn from them... but in the end, I do believe that we come out on top with more knowledge attained. They do make you a better person, they really do. Heh... this is making me all teary eyed. Anyways, just thought I would say that.. best of luck to all of you. I hope your dog gets better Matt. |

my dog was attacked by raccoons three years ago. if my mom hadnt been in the kitchen, she wouldnt be here. i actually adminstered her a little first aide - checking for shock and all that. she had over 50 puncture wounds, but most were superficail. the dog is a cat i swear she has nine lives, because luckily she survived. she does now have a knee that pops and a she has a disc in her back that is irritable so she cant play as hard or go for long walks anymore, but shes still here.
my heart goes out to you. is this something common that these dogs do? if so they really should be reported. when i was younger i was attacked by a german shepard - not fun. my brother saved me. my mom made me go to the police (although young i knew that if i went the dog might have to die) and we foudn out just how many kids had been attacked. sad part was that the dog was mistreated at home, the only reason it became mean. anyways, i cried and cried over the fact that i was the last report the police would take before the dog got put sleep. it was awful, but for other peoples pets, and children, it really had to happen. i wish we could call animal services on some people who dont love and care for their pets like they should. but anyways, best wishes and hopes to you. |

Its really hard to loose pets. Ive lost a couple of cats over the years.
One got hit by a car and we had to put it down because the medical cost was too much. I think I was too young to understand though. Another basicly went senial and would randomly attack us or have hissy fits... she just got really wierd and old.... probly best for her own good. But that was hard because we had to make the disition to put her down or let her live till the bitter end. Last summer was really hard. It happend the night before I left for thialand and my mom found our cat mysteriously dead on the side walk. I found it really hard cus I actualy saw her dead and felt she was still too young to die. My cat died in front of my eyes last summer while I was holding onto one of his paws, it was truly the saddest thing I've ever had to see, and get really choked up thinking about it.
It's never easy to say goodbye to your best friend :( I hope you're okay champ, big internet hugs from me! |

aww that sucks. do you know for sure yet? when my kitty got hit by a car they told me he would probably never walk again because he had no felling in his lower half. but I waited and he's still around happing every where! I really hope things work out for you. it's so hard to lose a pet. even if things don't work out, your doggie still knows you love her. I took my other cat home with me for one day before he was pout down just so I could spend the day with him. it meant so much. my heart goes out to you. :)

my mom went to the neighbors to bitch at him. She said that his dogs dug a hole under the fence and attacked our dog. He said that was impossible and his dogs are the victims. One has a scratch under it's eye. My mom mentioned that my dog has no front teeth and a broken jaw. He then said its our fault because we make our dog antagonize his because we don't like him( this would be like throwing a baby in a pool of sharks considering my dog is a jack russell and they have two pittys). He also called my mom a "Snotty mercedes driving bitch" and a bunch of other insults that had nothing to do with the situation. she left and is really mad.
she has called the spca and is now telling me shes going to spray his dogs with tabasco sauce. haha! I think she should spray the doode with some bear spray personally. It amazing what kind of losers pet owners can become or are. I think my mom is being really immature and should jsut leave it to the spca. i'll fill you guys in with more later. |

Holy shit, is this guy for real? His dog's are victims?? Did he even SEE your dog after what his "innocent" pit bulls did to it?? Take pictures of the fence, the hole, your dog, etc. I mean having one scratch is nothing compared to the damage that those dogs would have had to inflict to cause such damages such as missing teeth and broken jaws...
I hope this guy gets punished because that is absolutely unacceptable.. |

That just gets me more angry when an owner wont take responsibility for their pets. Ive had a few of my cats get atacked by an other owner's cat and we would end up with a $200 medical bill because their cats claw got cought in our cat and infected it. Some owners would feel bad and help pay, but some just dont give a shit. Pitt bulls are nasty and known to be really visouse. The owner definenlty doesnt know how to take responsibility or try to work things out. I know it must really make your familey angry... especialy towards teh dogs, but be carful and try to deal with things in a better manner before you take care of it yoruself. See what the SPCA sugets, you may be able to take them to court and fine them? You should deffinenlty report the dogs. If there able to dig under the fence they could be at great danger to other ppl and other pets. Like I said pit bulls are well known to attack with out warning. |
