I eat a large variety of foods. When it comes to vegtables and fruits... I look for a variety of colours. I also have fun trying diffrnet ones. Greens im most in need of... baby spinich, elfalpha, brocholi, esparages etc. Same with meat... I take turns between chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, beef, and lots of tofu and beans. Aparently avacados are so full in nutritian that its possible to live off them alone!!! Blue berries were another fruit that surprised me. There apparently full of nutrients you cant get anywhere else and its proven that they help prevent cancer! Nuts and whole wheat are a great energy boost. Nuts contain alot of the vitamins that are found in energy drinks. Ill stop the lechture and just say that alot of ppl are miss informed about what healthy/nutritous food is. Example did you know that mushrooms have barly any nutrients and vitamins in them??? Also when you microwave or cook your food too much its looses alot of its nutirents as well. Oh and you have excercise. Not alot, but even just streaching and doing a few push ups/sit ups in the morning gives me a super boost and reduces that never stoping crave for food. And as for mushrooms, I thought they had no nutritional value either, but they're good for B vitamins, potassium, copper (which iron needs to do what it's supposed to do - making red blood cells, etc) and selenium which works with vitamin E somehow to make antioxidants and has something to do with helping to fight cancer, not 100% sure how. Grill asparagus and mushrooms with a little salt, butter and garlic powder. It literally takes less than 5 mins to chop and grill. Makes it so easy to include green veggies in your diet and tastes soooooooooooo good. |

^ Garlic is super good for you! Especialy when it comes to flue season. I find that intresting about the nuts... because thats exactly when i crave them between 3-4pm after i get home from work. Just a handfull totaly hits the spot. I sware by avacados... I use to be tired and draind all the time untill I went absest with avacados. I honestly believe that having an avacado a week really helps.

^ yeah, it's called the afternoon slump. Especially if you've had a big lunch, you're going to have a huge dip in energy and crave bad things like chocolate and stuff which is the worst thing because you get your quick sugar high and then crash really hard again. Trail mix is good to try - sunflower seeds are really good for you as well.

thats exactly how i feel now... i have always ALWAYS felt tired...even after getting a goodnights sleep.. always drowsy and foggy-headed, could basically sleep at any hour of the day.. but now i feel so different and alert..even my walk feels different, like i'm walking on air or something (maybe the fact that i went from a size 10 to a size 6 in under a week) i highly recomend this cleanse to anyone who can do it.. and trust me, if i can do it, anyone can do it. p.s. i really like your avatar.. do you know who the artist is? |
