I've always had a love for music, and I wanted the chance to share my love with as many as possible! What type of music do you specialise in? Funky, bangin, disco house/bangin techno Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it? I believe it was Gisselle Jackson - Love Commandments speed garage remix. It was like $60 or so. What is your most treasured record and why? Its always changing, right now i have a few. What events have you played at? Many club nights, includint Last Supper Club, Mantra Lounge, Watertown, etc...Quite a few raves, but I havent played one in quite a while. What National / International club nights have you played at? A rave in Phoenix last April Do you have any DJ'ing horror stories? Plenty! Most recent was the rave in Phoenix, our transportation was late, we wandered around when we got there because the promoter was no where to be found and we didnt know what room we were in, myself and Jed-X had to follow up a happy hardcore dj for our first set, i got threatened by the dj before our second set, it goes on... Are you a resident DJ, if so where? Not currently, I was at Mantra Lounge, and I do play frequently at various clubs. http://www.quikspinproductions.com Any other info? I dislike promoting myself, but here goes. I play quite aggressively, throwing accapellas on top of my tracks, and if its available, I can and will rock 3 decks! I love the music I play and try to share that love with as many people as possible, you can definately see that when I play. I'd love to come up to Canada some time and show you what I can do! just a random idea, but i wanted to see if it would intrigue you. i want to hear what would come of a FUNK/Ska/'Regga-ish' sound? i know i would be excited to hear it. i suppose there are sounds like that out there, but i just had to see if i pushed it a little mabey i could get some bold examples :D
im big on the idea of incorperating established sounds with new aged music |
