He has been in and out of the industry for almost 22yrs. He started playing clubs when he was 16.

Here's The List: Studio 69, Exit To Eden, Plush, Red Square, Vase, Ivory, The Orange Room (Guvernment), Fluid, Alto Basso, Bauhaus, 318 Richmond St.(before it was the joker it was an afterhours) The Drake Hotel, PUR, Film Lounge. The Living Room, Kokkino, Key Bar in NY, Beach House in Miami during wmc 2002. Senso, Camel and Soda Nightclubs in Athens Greece.

In late 2004 he felt that it was time to get into the scene once again, but this time as a radio personallity. Back in 2000 he was spinning for a legend in the scene, Deadly Hedley Jones for, 102.1fm and Energy 108, 89.5 CIUT. Now he hosts a show on club 246 radio 100.7fm in Toronto and 97.9fm in Ottawa. You can tune in every Friday night from 2am till 4am eastern time.

Alex like's all music aslong as it's good. Everyone who had the time and energy to get to know him say that he is very open minded and full of energy.He likes to spin trance and deep progressive house but is very versatile and his taste for music is impeccable.

About DJ Eris:
Inspired by her first rave, Eris invested in some turntables only two weeks later. She first started spinning in early 2002.

At that time, her genre of choice was mainly trance, but she now designates her record box to anything and everything progressive – house, breaks, and trance – with some electro thrown in every now and then, which creates her unique sound.

Eris has been on the bill with the likes of Kid Vicious, Blank & Jones, Dumonde, Marco V, Future Breeze, and Scot Project, to name a few. She has held down residencies in and around Vancouver, and has also played in LA at the Grande Avenue Club.

Eris is always looking for new ways to be involved with the music that she loves and is definitely a DJ to look out for.

Lazy Rich is originally from the UK and has been DJing for 5 years, during which time he has played alongside the likes of Deepgroove, The Beginnerz, D.Ramirez, Mark Night and The Trophy Twins.

Rich has played at many venues across the South-West of England including residencies at Play at Level and at Red at Bar Latino in Bristol, plus appearances at Revolution, Blue Mountain, Bar Room Bar & Mbargo in Bristol, plus The Brunel Rooms and The Apartments in Swindon.

ok, so question about alex paris, who is he? what does he play? i realize its trance, but there are many varieties of trance. how long has he been playing? what are his influences, favorite tunes, whatever.

i just dont think that a promoter should have to make his/her clientele do any research, all info should be right there on the spot. and yes, we on TA did go the extra mile and did some research to only find that Alex Paris is a contracting company, no other details of who and what this person is are available to the general public.

personally, i'd be going to see christine rock it out. i dont see why i should be spending money on Alex Paris, an Italian immigrant who founded Alex E. Paris Contracting Company in 1928 and spins some unknown type of trance records as a hobby.

Alex Paris is DJ from Toronto who has been spinning for over 10 years now and played all over the world. He plays trance, house and so much more tunes. He is not a contractor and not an Italian immigrant. The info you found is not the Alex Paris who will be at the Plaza on Sunday and sometimes when someone does research on someone on google or yahoo the searches always bring up something else and not the actual person that your looking for.

Alex Paris has his own radio show on Club246 and his own show on dropdaneedle.com as well. Alex Paris record label is out of Greece and is only a DJ and nothing else as he DJ's for a living. :)

I wouldn't hire a DJ to come all the way to Vancouver who spins Trance for a hobby. Alex Paris is one of the top DJ's out in Toronto and has over 10 years being a DJ.

I have not founded anything but dropdaneedle.com, beatbeyond.com. I am not Italian and I am definately not 78 yrs. old. I have a radio show on club246.com I have worked in clubs in Toronto, Athens Greece, Chicago Nova Scotia, Montreal, Windsor, Detroit. just to name a few.
