$4,000 worth of bad news (canadian customs)

alrite check this i recently shipped my computer setup from new york to vancouver through ups which included my 17" aoc monitor, my tower had an intel pentium 4 processor, western digital 120gb hard drive, asus tek mother board 512m ddr ram, creative aduigy sound card, nvida video card ( cant recall the name right now).

alrite the story is i recived my packages open my monitor box, and whats this? glass? no it cant be i paid $237 to ship everything surely my things were not mishandled. well sad to say my monitor was smashed, my tower case was so fucked i could not assemble the correct way my hard drive was on top of my mother board and cpu not screwed in at all the wires all disconnected. Needless to say i would be afraid of even pluging it in, shit i'd be afraid of being electicuted. Man all i have to say is thank god i in sured everything, even though i am sure i will not recive the full value of my items. oh yea there was a floppy drive added into my computer, lol i didnt ven have one to begin with it looks like customs had an assembly line and just throwing whatever parts into what ever computer. well this is my story of more bad luck. but hey at least i finally found an apartment and got a car.

bad news, but i wouldnt blame canada

and to all the canadians on this board, his post just goes to show you the ups of a canadian education. (if you don't know what i'm talking about, i'm ashamed)

im not blaming canada, i am blaming customs, us customs i am sure would have been even worse no doubt.

Don't know much about computers but yeah, that sucks and yeah, at least you found an apartment and got a car.

Thats ridiculous man...I'm sure some of those parts can be salvaged...let me know if you need any assembly done..

So typical, it's just like when you hear about kids getting thier cars literaly ripped apart at the border and then they are told they can go but have a non funtional car in 60 pieces.
