And i dont know why everyone is bitching about Dj swamp on the main stage.. Who cares if its something different, there will be plenty of trance im sure for everyone to hear after and before his set... and im sure he will do something entertaining...

as for breaks in the main hall...after working at plaza for 4 years, and attending a shitload of parties there i'd have to say that the breaks in the main hall wont be a good idea. i agree with the idea...and swamp definitely deserves to be in there, and also fuck everyone else who thinks that breaks wouldnt work in the main room.....BUT the problem is that the main hall does NOT sound good with anything but trance and hard house.
anything with funk or soul gets robbed of its sound in the big hall.

trust me ive seen this done and it doesnt sound very hot.

all I have to say is, do you remember at @live 2 years back. the shut down the breaks room and had everone main stage and gumbee was the only breaks DJ, yes, it was HUGE! give them a chance, people change. Swamp will RoCk tHe ShIt OuT oF ThEm!

It's not a question of who deserves to be where. It's the fact that 95% of the people at the main stage will be there for trance, and about 85% of those people won't be interested in Swamp.

Excuse me for being frank when I say it blows my mind how close minded some of you are.

The reality - stop whining about Swamp playing in the main room until you hear him play. If after hearing him play you have an opinion, you are more than welcome to share it.

Swamp is an Entertainer... he puts on a helluva show. Why not mix things up with this kind if thing? -- He won't be dropping just Breaks. This is done all over the world where multiple types of music are played from the same stage.

Lets everyone stop being so close minded here and give it a chance.

aaron's right, breaks in the main room is a bad idea... since the main hall is so big it'll get really echoey and just sound funny... it doesnt affect trance or hardhouse though because it adds to that type of "anthem" music

it shouldnt be that big of a deal though.. i mean swamp is the only breakbeat dj spinning in the main room, and it'll probably be only like a 45-1hr set

as for the type of music swamp uses, he uses breaks, hiphop, and drum n bass... good stuff

yea very true. Tha azns and by that i mean the gangster barstars who basiclly take up most of the ticket sales for any plaza rave will be outraged by breaks being on the main stage. But since its dj swamp i think they will give ihm a chance. He is quite the crazy ass entertainer and as much as i hate breaks id even watch him perform and do his wacky things. Ive seen breaks in the main room before and the gangsters reaction wasnt too bad. Baby Anne i think it was. ANd plus its New Years it will be a blast for them anyways. Not for me though im not gonna go due to my unhappiness for lineup.
