Hey everyone. My buddy introduced me to this site a couple weeks ago, and it's taken me until now to register and post, but better late then never I guess eh?

I'm not a recovering alcoholic, but i may as well introduce myself ~ the name's Vlad, username Viro, which is also my DJ handle.
I live in North Burnaby, always have, and go to school here at CDIS (AI now) and am in my 4th semester in the Recording Arts Post program. I took courses before at Columbia Academy as well in recording arts, and I partake in alot of my own producing tracks, both of an eletronic and an alternative rock/folk nature here at home on my own system.

I've been spinning records for about 3 years now; I started with Jungle and Trance, and made my way into Hard House, and now I spin Progressive House/Breaks 98% of the time. i'm huge into all forms of electronica tho, and I could listen to drum and bass, breaks, house,speed garage, and trip hop every second of my day.. come to think of it, most of the time I do :284:

As for which parties I've been spinning at recently, sadly I 'm still waiting for more opportunities to arise.. just building up my collection up till now I guess. I do feel ready in my skills to perform in public tho, so I guess I'm just waiting for the chance to be able to prove myself, in a manner of speaking ;)

Otherwise, I spend my time with my gf, going to school, and TRYING to find work in this damn city. I'm down with gaming and computers, and I'll prolly end up goin further into school for that once I'm done at CDIS.

I appreciate if you've sat through this longer then anticipated post, and I look forward to getting to know everyone involved in the community here!

I am liking the RAP program, but I've been at Ceedis for so long it seems that I just want it to finish already.. and with finals up this week, I will be quite releaved once it's all over!
