We all know that Twisted NYE party is only going intill 2:00am ok so lets all just get it out of our systems ok oh this oh that this sucks waaaa waaaaa waaaaa. Ok angry still......You just might be but before your next post or words just think who you should be directing your anger towards.
1-The promoters who have found and did everything humanly possible to get this venue.(Exert booked PNE first so can you tell me what Venue they are supposed to use???)
2-Or Direct your anger at the city's Rave by-laws who will not let this party go on for no reasonable explanation even though it's NYE (biggest party night of the year)
3-Or your last option is just to be angry at no one and just go out and party your ass off wherever you go.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I really don't want to see post that say how much Twisted sucks or whatever. Even though I don't know the promoter's of any of these party's I know from experience (throwing party's in Florida) that what these promoters are doing to get a venue like Bridge Point is more work then any of you have put into the scene.

It's rather dumb that companies as "wack" (hee hee I said wack, it's wack y0, what the wack?) as twisted associate themselves with the "scene" (notice the quotations arouond scene, pretty snazy no?).

It's only till 2:00 am now? Christ. This has gone from being an all night dance party, till being at the same level as a club on NYE, and now it's open only till 2am. Which is *extremely* ironic considering that clubs are open to 3am on NYE.

Bullshit justification.

If Exert booked the PNE before Twisted did, and Twisted had no where else to go, except a small chance of getting Bridgepoint, then they shouldn't have gone on as if they had a confirmed venue.

They should have waited around till they knew that they had the Bridgepoint site confirmed. As in, legally allowed to go on all night. As it stood, all they had was a slim chance that Richmond City Council would, all of a sudden, change their views on raves and let them go ahead.

That's taking an awfully big risk. A risk that Twisted chose to accept.

This is a variable that cannot be controlled. Whatever they say is what goes. This variable is unpredictable as well, so no one could really know with what side they'd go with. In keeping with that, Twisted should not have put all of their eggs in one basket in the assumption that they'd get Bridgepoint all night.

And they definately shouldn't have been going around telling everyone that it'd be an all night show, when the show happening in the first place was at question.

In addition, Twisted should have expected resistance from RCC due to the undernet Matrix disaster.

If I paid 50 bucks, I wouldn't be that happy. In fact, I think anyone who bought tickets should be right royally pissed off at how Twisted marketed this party under false pretenses. I think that they should demand a refund, and take that money and put it to better usage...
