Dance Valley 2003 - Video download

I have a video of Dance Valley #09 - 2003 - the huge rave in Holland. Will be uploading the full video soon, here is a 15 second sample, it's a 1 MB .wmv file. It should look and sound pretty good, although in a little 320 x 240 window, let me know how it plays.

Do a right-click, save target as... on this link to download the file to your hard drive, probably the desktop is a good place, and double click it to run it, or drag and drop the saved file onto Windows Media Player (version 9 recommended).

The complete video is 21 minutes, 80 MB, and I'm looking for a place to put it. I have other versions up to 650 MB long.

The original show video someone gave me is a 800 MB MPEG-1 file. I editted it to get it down from the original 45 minutes to 21. The shorter video is more exciting than the original!

I adjusted color tint and contrast levels, and tried several file formats and bit rates to find one that is good for downloading.

Looks like it was an excellent event with Michel de Hey, Sander Kleinenburg, Ferry Corsten, Montana, Deep Dish, JP, Johan Gielen, and Tiesto.

I stayed up all night editting the thing and yes, the music is not called trance for nothing! :kam:

I made the video downloadable from Kazaa, so do a search on "Dance Valley" and you might find it. You need to search for Video (not audio). I think Kazaa has a wierd networked way of searching for files, so it might take a while before it can find the videos for any particular user.

There are 2 sizes of the .wmv video, 78 MB and 41 MB - they sound the same (pretty good if you have decent PC speakers) and are 1/2 size 320x240 pixels, but the small video is less clear and goes jerky when people move fast.

I will put the videos on a ftp site when I can find one. It's on TranceAddict.com but I think only the webmaster can get to it, unless he makes it available for public download, and they probably don't have a lot of bandwidth to spare.

Be sure to watch for the "hard dance" girl.

OK there are now two sizes of the Dance Valley video on MC Hammered's ftp site (as well as on Kazaa but nobody has got them from there yet).

From your ftp client program:
url: mchammered.nailed.org, login: form, password: kaos, port: 21
go to "uploads" folder, then to "tvmann" folder,
files are dance_valley_09_256k.wmv - size 39.7 MB
and dance_valley_09_512k.wmv, size 76.5 MB

The smaller file is for people on slower connections or other limitations, it sounds the same but is not quite as clear and the motion is jerky at certain points.

The big file is the preferred one if you have the time.

Whoever shot the video, knew where to point the camera. I was tempted to edit out all the guys, but that wouldn't be fair. So I just took out the MC who was really annoying.

BTW at 1:40 into the video Sander Kleinenberg is spinning Double Dee - Shining, Scumfrog remix - maybe he will play it at Sonar tonight.

There's a good documentary at tranceaddict.com called "Ibiza's Children" done by someone from Toronto.
It is big, 136 MB, 29 minutes, but worth it, definitely save it on your HD.

I submited my DV to Ben already. I have an unedited DVD of J00F from IMF in my DVD player right now.....its a lil wonky b/c the tape was fucked. Still sum dope stuff on there tho
