Awesome cubase trick!

I've been looking for ways to get better control over my production environment so I decided to dig around into Cubase SX's more advanced features and came across a feature.

You can divide your midi keyboard's octaves into different VST instruments using sx's input transformer, which means you can have the octave of:

C0 control a z3ta
C1 control an albino
C2 controlling an instance of massive
etc

What this means is, you can play several instruments at once (famous technique used by Vangelis). I've tried it out and it actually works (in cubase sx3)!

Heres how its done:

make sure that all of your midi channels have "record enable" set

I'd need a dual core to do that.

Haha, massive and z3ta together isn't the best combo... however, works fine (35% usage) for me on my single core.

I've just discovered how to create multiple audio tracks, excellent for dragging and dropping large amounts of files from one folder to the other. An excellent time saver.
