Ableton should work fine, when they did tiger they upgraded the core-audio, basically breaking alot of stuff, i'm not sure about serato but torq works perfectly. Some plugins like melodyne are incompatible tho.

Also if your really worry about security just click the button that says firewall on ;)

I thought this last line in that article was rather interesting:

the security holes identified in that article are pretty minor. if you use samba or ntpd, you might be at risk. but your mac probably shouldn't be accessible to the internet anyway, so these security holes can be blocked by a firewall/router or by turning off the services.

few minor glitches, note when you first install it, before restarting the computer, run system update. lol. im guessing a short glitch on the installation process, it keeps loading the sign on/register page. minor glitches with the dock dissappearing happend to me a couple times. other than that the programs seem stable.

and doing everything in leopard is actually fun. everyday i literally can't wait to go and plug in my laptop to my portable harddrive so that i am able to use time machine to go back in time. lol. i go and look at it just for fun sometimes. shows me eveyrhting i deleted every hour since i setup time machine.

i lost my cd of leopard and was trying to install XP on my macbook pro (just to play some games). Apparently, I need the leopard disk to finish the install for drivers and such - anyone want to lend me theirs? :D

I'll be joining you folks soon enough! It's been forever since I've used a Mac... so I might have to ask for some tips and hints.

i realized at work that it only takes 1 serial for cs3? seems too good to be true.. i think for cs2 1 needed 1 serial to generate another serial. hmm... ok torrent here i come.

There were major glitches with Leopard for Adobe CS3 in the beginning which made Leopard a horrible OS. Since then, things seem to be functioning normally. It's a pretty OS but functionality wise, I don't think it's as stable as the previous OSs.

I got safari 3.1 and have no issues with hotmail, but try downloading and using camino(firefox mac) that will fix any problems.
