can mushrooms, as God's creation, do permament brain damage?

I always wondered....

One time I did a bunch of mushrooms and was convinced that the two people I was with (Myles and Money) killed my parents and were going to kill me. I went through alot that night both physically and mentally and always asked the question. Do I actually know what it feels like to have someone kill my parents and attempt to kill me? If you're in a different mindset when realizing something isn't it sorta like its really happened?

I know what it's like to taste a soul, so I think you know what it's like to have someone kill your parents.

Drugs may fabricate thoughts and put them into your head, but you still go through the feelings as if they were real.

I find if you do mushrooms with people you subconsciously doubt then those realizations are going to surface, always.

Yeah it's true that MENTALLY the shrooms tell you what's going on in your life, but how you act physically while trippin' is a whole different story. I don't have a problem with the quality of a trip I might get, but I have a problem with doing it with lots of people around, and cars.

He's right Gunter. In reality, I really don't know if they'll cause brain damage or not, but I do know I haven't noticed any impairment in my brain functions. That doesn't mean I won't get it.

That's why I asked "How so?" before giving my own experience.

exactly why the idea of hallucinates have NEVER appealed to me...."tripping out and seeing shit" to 'learn about the world' is the dumbest idea ever.....and don't try to counter with cultures who do it to visit with God or go on spiritual journies...that was just an excuse for a less educated cultures to get high.

Well, glad to know you missed the point entirely. Though I think your problem is too much hallucinogens as opposed to not enough.

The point is that the "spiritual realm" is a hallucination. And all the bullshit that ensues afterwards is just human control systems affecting on the race, propogating the hallucination as a Truth (and ultimately negating the message behind the original teachers). There is no "realm" or system to spirituality, merely experiences.
