As a girl, I have to say it depends on the person. I know that when I had short hair, it was a pain in the ass to style it and have it look presentable. LONG hair is so much easier to deal with. However, Short hair has FUN look to it.

here's the way I look at it..

if you've got beautiful, soft, healthy hair, why not grow it long and show it off?

I personally wouldn't be able to stand short hair. anything above the shoulders makes me feel bald. :(
