Question: What's so good about being in a relationship?

The validation you feel from having someone want to be with you? You feel like you're someone because someone "loves" you? The constant reasurance you get that you are somebody because some one is with you, that you are worthy? The consistant ass you get? The chance to deny the other person's flaws and have them do the same about you?

Self esteem comes from self. Being single doesn't suck, it gives you time for self realization and discovery without the limitations of another person there to hinder you from self development.

There is no need for relationships.

that isnt it at all. obviously you havent been in a good relationship. it isnt merely about someone validating you. its about loving someone. whether they love you in return the same way. it is a feeling that makes you feel good. i love myself and am happy being single. im fine with it. i am not looking for someone to "complete" me. i am looking for someone to add to me.

you obviously dont get it.
