No such thing as vibe
after partying for 2+ years, ive been to numerous underground and commercial parties
when i first started partying i believed that there was such a thing called vibe at parties... and i used to experience it! but then when i think back to it, the only reason why i "felt" a vibe was because of drugs... i go sober to parties a lot and i dont really notice any vibe... the only "vibe" i do get are from actual friends of mine... but i cant remember the last time someone came up to me and introduced themselves so, from what ive personally experienced, the "vibe" of a party is directly related to the number of people who are high john 2899131

The vibe of a party is directly related to the general mood of everyone at a party. If everyone is happy, relaxed, having a good time, the "vibe" is good. of course, being high at a party can drastically alter ones mood into an extreme state of happiness and at raves, probably has a lot to do with the general populations state of mind.

hehehe :P No but really, the vibe is mostly just... how the party is. Like junglet said, if everyone is really happy and having fun then it's more a good vibe. If there's like a fight or just everyones all bitter and meh then it's like a bad vibe. I get vibes from parties still. But I get vibes from everyone.. just.. ya. like certain people just give me a bad vibe kinda thing. :P

John: I agree with you! Drugs make you feel the 'vibe' a lot more than you do when you're sober. I've been going to parties for 2 years sober now, and the only people that give the 'vibe-y' feeling are the people I go to the party with, or people I've met who I haven't seen in a long time. I know people are going to disagree with us...but then again, after more than a few times going to a party sober, they'll understand.
I don't feel the vibe when I go to parties. I have fun. or I don't have fun.

but i've been going sober for a while now and I still get a little vibe. but i think i'm just more vibey then most people (in the sense that i feel more vibe then most) i can get a weird/strange/good/bad (or something) vibe from most people.. so when i go to a party, it's the same thing. maybe it's more heightened for most when they're on drugs (i never noticed much of a vibe the few times i did e or anything) so i dunno? But the vibe doesn't determine whether i have fun or not. hehe I guess it varies for every person.

agree.. parties were much more fun with drugs. its really different from a sober point of view... good and negs about it. the "vibe" decreased once i finally figured how that drugs are baddddd.

nah there will always be vibes at parties even sober, i go to parties frequently some with drugs some with out. Some parties i like some i dont, i dunno i find each party i go to has a feeling about it, good or bad but thats what the vibe is. If the party is going strong and everyones having a good time then there is a good vibe, if not than it flucuate. ALthough i have found sometimes people say how good a vibe is and all wanna do is go home so im lost... these ramblings have been brought to you today by the letter r

im sure a whole bunch of people being high COULD contribute to a decent "vibe"....but i think more often than not....if the music isn't doing it for a good portion of the people there then there will be no vibe.... ive gone to parties sober and high...have had good and bad times with both....but i can guarantee u that if the djs really sucked or jus weren't reading the crowd right seeing what theyre responding to best then every time there will be a "meh" or lousy vibe....if im sober and i start hearing some phat tracks then that will make "my vibe" all the more positive.... corrie

Hmm.. Vibe did and does exist, I think the hole problem with vibe is... no one let's loose like they used to, I used to do the drugs and feel the crazy vibes at parties two years ago, but then I also went sober to parties 2 years ago and felt crazy vibes, people are just so up-tight and Agro these day's... wtf happend the the PLUR people..

I've been partying for over 2 years sober and high.. but mostly sober!and I still see a vibe there.. or maybe that sense of mine is extremly sensitive.. I dont know.. but I can seriously tell when I walk in to a party whether its a good vib or bad.. and sometime ouneasy.. whish is kinda wierd..
think about it.. last time you went to a GOOD party sober.. how did you feel, wut were the ppl around you like.. was everyone having a good time.. and all that other stuff. IMO, the vibe is wut you make it also.. if you are having a shitty time.. your gonna give off a shitty vibe and it may pass on to other.. though some will try cheer ya up! (that seriously sound like a E-tard tak there.. but its not.. heh)

people talk about vibe all the time, NOT JUST AT RAVES!! vibe exists anywhere, its the feeling you get from a room of people when you walk in. you can walk into a house party, or even just your friend's place when they have people over and you can immediately pick up on the general emotion of the people there. its not restricted to raves/parties, and drug use.
of course, if you are on drugs, you will probably be a hell of a lot happier and think theres a good vibe almost no matter what. if your trip is good, then you'll think the vibe is good. if everyone is high and having a great time, then the vibe will be killer tho! i personally love parties where everyone is so mangled you can only shake your head and wait for the next fantastic surprise to occur! haha my point: vibe is not how many ppl are on drugs, its the general mood of everyone there. (and there mood may be affected by drugs). but vibe does exist in the real world, outside of drugs.

i think the vibe can still be there even when ure not high
well maybe its cuz im usually rilly drunk ect. but i mean...for example: the "vibe" of jungle breakdwon wuzint to good whether ppl were high or not (no offence!)...and i wuz sober at sexy sexy but i felt a good vibe there cuz everyone wuz dancing and having a wicked time,.
