you guys have it all wrong sex doesnt sell!!!!! you are all thinking that it does right now, but in 3 monthes when you are trying to think of that ad where the girl is giving the guy a hummer, you wont know if it was a puma or an addias advertisement, some shoe company, thats all.... no name association to the ad. Im learning all about this stuff in my micro econ class! only two sectors does it work, lingere and swimwear.

see what i mean? right now you probably remember they are puma's because by talking about the shoes they are becoming more memorable, but on the average day looking througha mag, you would say just that^^ ... some chick kneeling down in front of some dude.... what was it selling? 9 times outta 10 the person will remember the sex part of the advertisment and not the product.
