I think it is waxing the whole dang thing. All of it. Bald bald bald.
I too have been looking around for a good price for a wax. I looked online at the spa at Hotel Vancouver, and if my eyes were not deceiving me, it was only $20. But maybe that was just a regular wax. Maybe I should look again. Has anyone every tried those at-home waxes? Nair, Veet, Andrea...etc.? Are they awful? Do they work? |

a french wax is getting all the hair waxed from your pussy
a brazilian wax is a french wax + getting the inside of your ass waxed as well. http://www.femail.com.au/brazilianwax.htm |

i dunno, when i try to do it, i think ow it's gonna hurt.. and then i just can't pull the strips off properly. that just makes it more painful! i only tried my legs though, no where else. I'd rather pay the extra money to have someone professionally do it (although i haven't done that yet) i don'tknow if i could do a brazillian wax.. seems so painful! ahh. |

I've had a french wax before. Head to Toes Salon in New Westminster...about $25
Escents has a spa at their store on Commercial drive...i think it's around $25 as well. The Ecotique spa in metrotown quoted me $40, i'm not sure if they go full on brazilian or if it's just a very expensive french wax. Edit: wrong spa name Last edited by diva; Apr 11, 03 at 12:54 AM. |

OK Come to the Wax expert. I have used the Nair, Neet, Wax, Sugaring.
Brazilian is actually the extreme of all of the waxing. You go from front to bottom. NO HAIR anywhere. Bikini is that you're cleaning up the sides so that no unsightly hairs are poking through. French is basically the texture of the wax. Look at body shop wax, that is a french wax where if it starts to cool it'll peel off without your cloth strip. You throw those pieces out of course. Depends on what you need done. Armpits and brows are best used with French wax. Nair - Burns like a MOFO! Grows back TOUGHER and just plain gross. Girls, don't do it! Neet Aquafilter Wax - Works well on legs and arms and sucks on anywhere that doesn't have a straight surface. Sugaring - good but PAINFUL. Depends on the person. I know I was nearly crying when I had my Bikini done. Can you imagine a brazilian? Overall, WAXING is good. Girls, when I was living in Vancouver. My wax shop was off of Commercial and East 1st. Somewhere there. Anymore questions? |

^ With brazilian you can leave a strip remaining. It's just that they wax everywhere, including the behind. It's called a brazilian because girls in Brazil etc. get it done so they can look perfect in the tiny thong bikinis they wear on the beaches there. If You ask they can still leave a strip at the front.
I really want to get one done but i'm terrified. i tried waxing myself once and I do the same thing as mentioned before. I'm so scared that i can't pull it properly and all I get is chunks heh. Not fun. And I'm extremely limber but there's no way i'd ever be able to get back "there". So I'll I have to do is get the balls to get it done proffesionaly. I know itwill still hurt but at least I"m not the one pulling the trigger. Nair and all that crap never works for me in that area. I'm guessing its made just for legs etc. not thick hair. Somebody did mention a special bikini hair remover though, that I wouldn't mind trying if its strong enough for that area. But it also comes back quick anyways, and that stuff isn't to be put in some areas that can be reached by waxing or shaving. I do have on question about waxing. Have any of you ever had a problem with ingrown hairs? Because I know thats something you have to be careful with after shaving. |
