It's a good idea in theroy - but you don't always want everyone to know you are single
there are lots of yucky, yucky people that I would prefer not know anything :) Some of the fun in meeting people is finding out they aren't single and having your hopes crushed!! Now those are good times ... (ha ha ha) |

in Toronto, a long time ago, before there was a predominant gay scene, guys used to wear color bandanas in their back pockets. a certain color would correspond to something. So for example, if you saw a guy walked down the street with a blue bandana in his back pocket, that would mean he was a top. (i'm not really sure what blue actually means, i'm just giving an example). Or yellow would mean you're single. Or red would mean you're in an open relationship, etc etc. That way you'd be able to tell if someone was your type just by looking at the bandana they had in their back pocket.
I don't think anyone does it anymore? but supposedly at Homo-Hops in TO some people still do it -s. |

http://www.puckerup.com/hanky.htm I think that rockers back in the eighties used to tie a blue or red bandanna around their knee, but I could be wrong :) |
