drug facts (for young people) does cannabis
I found this old paper book here in my room (looking for my lost creditcard) and I opened it up only to find a funny page on the breakdown of cannabis. The book was printed back in 1994, and tagets young kids (im thinking 10 under) about their awarness of drugs. Again this is just the write up on canabis, I found it a laugh and thought to share it with the rest.
I am marijuana. I come from the canabis plant. I am made from the dried leaves and tops of the canabis plant. My friends hash and hash oil come from the same plant juice. Besides alcohol and tabacco, my friends and I are the next most widely used drug. But we are different... we are illegal. That means we can get you in trouble with the law. Teeanger, collage and university students are our biggest fans. I can be smoked or eaten and my effects can vary from user to user. A lot of times it depends on who you are, and how you feel. Sometimes I can make you talkative and happy, and sometimes, just the opposite. I can make you feel hungry and make your eyes turn red. I can be dangerous too. I can make it hard for you to concentrate on hard tasks, like driving or riding a bike. I can take away your ambition, so you just wont care. I can make you very forgetful, even during the times your not using me. You might even panic if you havent used me before. In alot of ways, I'm like a cigarette becuase I increase your pulse and heart rate and I can damage your lungs. One thing is for sure, I am not legal. lol, well there you have it. bowl and a few minuets later. personally reading over this a few times, im confused to how this is to lead a child away from cannabis. I mean it clearly boasts about how happy you feel and how talkative you get, then counters that with the cons.. feeling hungry and red eyes  please.. It does discrible mental effects but if I was 10 (even 12) I dont think I would take the loss of my ambition very seriously, all I did at that age was play nintendo and eat anyways.well these are some of my suface thoughts, I hope this interests someone. :) -myles

hahaha that reminds me of when my ex was asked by her aunt when she was 10, what to do in case a stranger asked her if she wanted some candy. her response? "what kind of candy?" :tounge1:

oddly enought from my days of down hill mountian biking, pot helped my concentration. Oh yea, the way most people use alcohol and tabacco, they do more damage to people and cost this country way more money.
