I dunno 'bout you guys, but I had used up all the free trials (Grapevine, Georgia Strait Personals, Lavalife, Livelinks) by the time I was 17! It's just one of my nasty little habits. I figured out too that you could reuse a free acocunt after about 6 months on most services.

By the sounds of it it's just something he likes, I doubt it's an obsession or extreme fixation. But it could still possibly be a fetish to someone. A pretty boring one but, still a fetish. And concerning the shoe fetish, that's kind of how mine works. It's the shoe that is fucking hot, but there still has to be a girl in them. For me it's a combination of the two that gets me going.
