mind altering substances can be a wonderful thing, or they can completely ruin you. It depends on your intentions behind using them.

getting high cos your bored is a pretty surefire way to get a habit going. How bad or harmless the habit gets is up to you.

Getting high cos it stops the emotional pain is just plain stupid. Do yourself a favor and either shoot yourself now, or get some help and eventually face your problems instead of hiding from them.

Getting high (on certain chemicals) in order to explore/learn/connect with people and such is definetly the most productive intention. Just don't do it too much, and don't become reliant on it to do your exploring/learning/connecting. use drugs to enhance something that's already good.

I havn't done any hard drugs in three months. I might have smoked a joint for th ose 3 months. Very minimal if I did any, and i don't plan on ever doing anymore drugs but well see how that goes.

I'll do it if its natural.. ie, i smoke weed occaisonally and i've done mushrooms a few times. but not on a regular basis.

I just don't like the idea of putting substances into my body that shouldn't be there. Pain killers, antibiotics, hard chemical mind-altering drugs.. I stay away from all of them. Unless I'm dying or something... but that hasn't happened yet.

you know what? I do drugs. Actually i do more drugs then i should(my belief is that all drugs are unhealthy so by my own standards i do alot of fuckin drugs, but i digress)

I know its unhealthy and bad for my mental state but to tell you the truth, I like doing drugs. Therefore, until i grow up and pull my head out of my ass i will continue to do drugs, because i find the experience to be quite pleasurable. I have few regrets and right now the negative side effects of my drug use has not affected me enough to decide to stop using them, even though my better judgement tells me otherwise.

Eventually i will stop using all drugs except the socially acceptable ones(alchohol caffine etc) but i don't expect that to happen any time before my 25th birthday. Until then i will party like its 1999, of course i will moderate my drug use as i am an ambitious man and i will never let any thing get in the way of my goals, even my crackhead tendencies will not get in the way.

i've often wondered about this. ppl say natural is best because it was made by nature or God, or wutever. they say natural is safe. it was intended for consumption. but wut about those poison mushrooms out there? those sure as hell arent healthy. and did nature or God ever plan on FIRE?

natural does not mean safe! its supposed to be a defense mechanism to get animals to stop eating them. supposed to be. well, marijuana fucked up big time. and now its paying the consequence...
