Is it dangerous to drink cooking sherry?
So I drank a mickey of rum and shot gunned 3 beers and drank 1 more beer tonight, but I'm not quite wasted yet, just plain old drunk. It's 3 AM and all the liquor stores are closed and I don't feel like calling Road Side and waiting 2 hours for a $25 12 case. So other that some Buckleys cough sirup and a lil mouthwash, the only booze I have in the house is some cooking Sherry. It's 18% alcohol so it'll deffinitely do the job, but I heard that it's not meant to be drank on it's own and can cause major tummy problems, is that true? I'm probably gonna drink it anyways, I just want to know if I should call poison control while I'm still coherent.
