K.....I've met a new guy, and he wants to 'get together for Hookah's". Can someone help me here???? I've never heard of this before....I am assuming that it's some type of pipe? Info would be appreceiated! :kam:

Remember Alice in Wonderland? The catterpillar was smoking a hookah. I think it's a mainly persian thing ( I could be wrong) where you smoke flavoured tobacco out of something that looks like a bong. It's actually quite tasty and relaxing. I think there are even a few hookah cafes around, which is probably where buddy was asking if you wanted to go.

If he's talking about smoking sheesha (sp?) in the hooka then yeah it tastes really good, and this is coming from someone who hates cigarettes, most cigars and pipe tobacco. Strawberry smoke actually tastes like strawberry. The schnozberries taste like schnozberries!!! It's also pretty relaxing, with a very very slight euphoric high... probably about the same as a smoker gets from a cigarette.

If he's talking about smoking weed from a hooka then you will get nicely toasted.

And if there's a combo of the two it is wicked fun. My buddy emptied the left overs from his bud buster and sprinkled them on some sheesha. We couldn't taste the bud at all, all we could taste was the strawberry sheesha, but it totally destroyed us.

I'm not totally sure how sheesha bongs work but I know they use coals so either the coal lights the sheesha or it heats it up to the point of vapourizing (a la hot knifing, which might explain why we didn't taste the bud). Either way it's definately worth a try with or without weed.
