mushrooms are natrual so i dont think they would have any long term effects that wont go away. as for chemical drugs i quit doing e like 4 months ago and ive noticed that almost all the side effects are gone. |

[quote=yoko*]snyx. how long do you mean by long term??
well for e, i'll tell ya.. depression for me... and for other ppl too.. like depression is my main concern. Mine is real terribly tho sum of my friends mite not notice it that much cuz it's not a topic I talk about that much. "don't worry yoko, tell me if u feel sad" pfft. if only things really truly worked that way. I can feel myself getting bitter already.. and thinking harder.. anyway... depression, thru my experience, and from research from books last around 2 weeks... one thing u shouldn't do is to mix post-e-depression with actual depression. QUOTE] ya...mixing the real depression with post-e depression=holy fuck crazy ass depression that you think you will never get away from. sigh maybe it is time to stop. but....if it's there....i will usually do it :( |

ive done a shitload of drugs. but the only noticeable lasting effects ive experienced i think has to do more wit constant pot use than any of the other things.
Why dont you pay attention in school, they tell you all the effects of most drugs these days. And most the effects they list are true, they are with marijuana anyways... DRUGS ARE BAD FOR YOU HEALTH PERIOD. you just want to hear that there aint no long term effects, or that theyre so minor and selective that you can "moderately" take drugs and be happy and healthy and live a long healthy life. errmmm WRONG! "taking drugs in moderation" is such a bullshit notion to begin with. most people who get into drugs, have a period where they get into em hard. moderation is the key, but the fact is, hardly anyone can do this succesfully for very long without trippin a bit . Ive never seen any old man talking candidly about his drugged out past " Well i used drugs moderately when i was young, so have no regret". Its always " I hit rock bottom than i finally realized". fuckin people always gotta find things out the hard way tho, what a shame. |

^it really depends on the drugs your taking.
E and amphetamines can have a long term (permenant) effect on how much effort it takes your brain to create new pathways, not to mention amphetamines borrow from the future and then crystalize in your nervous system. Be fast right now, and die sooner. Bad for the body, mind and spirit. Only good if you use them not often at all... like once every 3 - 6 months max. Coke just makes you stupid.... its a 100% body high and makes you forget about your brain and spirit. Weed.... fuck I dunno about weed. Logic says the smoke goes into your lungs and will probably cause problems later in life if you keep using it. But then theres all those old potheads who don't seem to have much problems at all with it, and the complete lack of statistical marajuana deaths. Mushrooms.... we've been eating those things for thousands and thousands of years. Only with the advent of the war on drugs have they been called bad for you. If they were really bad for you, would they have been used for thousands and thousands of years? They're kind of a self regulating drug too... If you try to take them too often, they'll slap you good and you won't do them again for a long time... if ever. As for good old LSD, well its active in the microgram range, so that pretty much rules out any long term body effects, aside from building up in your fat to be digested at a later time. But hey, I've done tons of cid and never had a flashback. Acid's main problem area lies in the brain. If your not in a good headspace and setting for it, it can really fuck your head up. And if you are in the right set/setting, you could have a totally rad spiritual experience and not want to come back. Leary's mantra.....turn on, tune in, drop out. (He was a fool for adding that last part, IMO...) Acid's biggest problem is to the structure of society. It would create too much social upheaval, so the powers that be tell you only about the negative effects it can have on you. This whole government drug propoganda thing really sucks... they've spewed too much bullshit for me to trust them. I'm sure they have information that is accurate, I just have no idea whats true and whats not with them. So really, the War on Drugs is just as harmful to people as drugs themselves are. |
