How about that Random Testing?

Well today I saunter in to work and lo and behold... The Public Health Nurse is there to Administer a test for Alcohol... lucky me I hadn't slammed a 6 pack before heading to work? Although I found it kind of interesting... I was reading the form that basically says "If I fail the [insert test method and intoxicant here] I agree to the disciplinary actions of my Employer." Good thing they were only looking for Alcohol. lol The section that had the tests that they could do (you only check off the one your doing...) Urinalysis for Alcohol, Urinalysis for Cocaine, Amphetamines, Cannibinoids, Opiates and something else... and Swab for Alcohol (What I did). So folks Random Testing is not a myth. :toasted:

This is exactly why I refuse to go to work stoned/drunk or even intoxicated in

the least.

Wow I've never had a job like that. Any corporate job will test you for alchohol and THC on a random basis.

You can get cleansing drinks though, post if you want more info.

uhhh if you get that test on a monday wouldn't the drugs you did on the weekend still show up?

if they tested for drugs and not alcohol?

Last time I checked, any random corporate job can't exactly do that unless they've got a good reason to.

Perhaps you're mixing up Canada and the US.
