anyways, i took one gravol last night since i had to go to bed at like 8am. i was tired already, but that knocked me out. i had a good sleep! so good.

the only reason benadryl will sometimes make you sleepy is the active ingredient [diphenhydramine hydrochloride] is the same one used in sleep aids [like nytol]. only difference in one benadryl has 25mg, while a nytol has 50mg. and what would ibuprofen do to help you sleep? the active ingredients don't cause drowsiness [as far as i know, and i take ibuprofen quite often and never experience it]

i've found with these they don't do much. they help you sleep once you get to sleep, but they don't make you really sleepy and tired. at least not with me.
I do believe that ibu's haven't any narcotic effect . . . on their own. I have found that mixing a benedryl and either ibu's or T-1's will produce a definate and comfortable down. (Only difference btwn ibu & T-1 is that T-1's have a dose of caffine, as well. Cool to watch a movie on. Your body wants to sleep, but, your eyes won't close.) The "buzz" will only last three hours, if you can manage to hold out that long.

F.Y.I. - T-1's are commonly purchased o.t.c. at any pharmacy. Places like Shoppers and L.D. have their own generic brand of either tylenol or asprin w/ caffine & codine. Get 200 of 'em at Shopper's for under $10.
My parents would be so proud.

you're talking about ibuprofen, right?

T1s and ibuprofen are completely different substances....

T1s are a combination of acetaminophen, codeine and caffiene.

Ibuprofens are just that - ibuprofen, a completely different substance, no codeine in there. Ibuprofen isn't recreational at all, it just inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, interrupting the process of inflammation...
