There's this total sketch club in Calgary called the Warehouse. The people who frequent it do WAY too much drugs. It's home to like...this hybrid breed of barstar ravers. It's very strange. =/ Lots of Ecstasy in that place.
But anyway, I don't agree with the people who are saying that ecstasy only belongs at raves. I mean, the first time I ever did E, I did a half at a bush party with my best friend. That was by far one of my best ecstasy experiences. There was no music, everyone around us was drunk (which we found funny), there was a nice bonfire going, and later on it started to rain very lightly. It was amazing. We had a great conversation, we were putting out ideas left and right, we were coming up with poetry on the spot. I think it was an interesting first experience because there was no music around us at all. It was just us and the rain, and the wind blowing in the trees. Very peaceful, very calm. Anyway, i don't know where I'm going with that story, other than Ecstasy isn't just for doing at raves. Besides, some parties are just way better sober. |

i'd say the atmosphere at a friday night of lotus and/or the drink/sonar/gorg, or a saturday of fluid/lotus/gorg would be way more conducive to the enjoyment of e than a big sketchy rave, but... to each their own. |

I have dropped at bars (pubs) b4 and usually just end up kinda frustrated cos they are playing shit music n nobody else is in the same headspace as you. Going to HOME this Friday which is always a trance night and I am taking some friends who are visiting from the country to blow their minds.
Hmm, This club, HOME, it is like totally designed in a way to disorentate you, multible little rooms with DJ's playing, mirrors, arcatechure and lighting that totally throws you off......hmmm, then again, I am usually fucked when I am there lol, any of you ever been to similar kinda venue? |

yeah home in sydney is a pretty legendary club.. it's definately up there on the hit list. cozo in toronto is bit like what you describe, narrow passageways make for disorientated mornings. turnmills in london is a serious warren of small rooms and passageways. easy to end up totally confused.

I probably wouldnt pop at a club, since its really not the right atmosphere, I mean people dance and whatnot at clubs, but not hardcore as if someone who is dancin on E full of speed, plus id be afraid of looking like an idiot... walking around ordering drinks all nite with HUGE dialated pupils all nite...
