mushroom season

is there a season for mushrooms? and if so what is it?

Well, the cyanesans are coming into season in the fall.
The little brown crunchy mushrooms that don't taste too bad and are freakin intense..

I can hardly wait :)

Is it elphinstone montain that has the most species of mushrooms? i used to hike there when i was a kid

do u guys think its hard to get them now? i would be scared to go mushroom picking what if u picked the wrongs ones and they were poison or something

Yea id really like to no wut to look for and where can i pick em in vancouver i heard they ggrow on the sides of highways and stuff but i still think it wud be hard to find the right ones

yeah, don't go mushroom picking unless you REALLY know your stuff.

I'd find someone else who's got alot of experience doing it and go with them if you haven't really done it much before.

If you want to start picking yourself a good identification guide is Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World by Paul Stamets.

Right beside coquitlam center bus loop right by the road theres alot

but they usually get plucked up pretty fast

Go check out www.erowid.org ...you may find some valuable information there...just be sure to bring the specimen to a dedicated shroomer when they are still wet to get a yay or nay...season starts in a couple weeks! I'm fully stoked!
