Potheads... GOOD or bad?

potheads.. i think their great. hahaha..
if your a pothead you'll understand.. when you talk to other fellow potheads everyone just kinda clicks*
and whoever said potheads don't get anywhere in life.. i know plenty who are smart hardworking and everything.. its just a matter of you stopping at the bud and the odd E at parties hahaha..

Well depends on your definition of a pot head.
If you smoke a few 'J's" on the weekend I don't think you're classified as a pot head. Now smoking a few J's a day that's a pot head and that's not good!

I'm a pothead! and you know what? It's great and I don't think its a problem. I still have a job and can function in everyday life..so why the hell not?? I can relate better to other potheads cause I know they "get" me...I think smoking weed has helped me be more accepting of things and gives me a real good outlook on life...
weed is definetly a part of my life... has been since grade 9 and will be for awhile too.

No I totally disagree, I used to be a pothead and I thought it was great and that stoners were the best but now I can hardly stand to be around most of them (there are a few exceptions).
You don't understand until you've been there for a number of years and then you stop and you realize how so much of it was time and money wasted.
I also refuse to date stoners, I just find that guys who rely on smoking pot 'forget' to call way too frequently.

This isn't necessarily the case for everyone though, some people manage to smoke occasionally and never rely on buds to get them through the day.. and that's totally cool.

But personally, i'd rather experience life in a non half-sedated state

This is totally an opinion thing so i'm not going to try to argue mine because ultimately whatever substances you choose to do is entirely up to you.

Pot isn't expensive.. I agree, but it adds up especially when you're smoking 4-6 times a day. Also it did me more harm than good (in terms of immune system, grades at school) I can't even say it was money well spent.

but i only feel the real merit of it when i've got my priorities in order. if i've got shit to worry about stoned, its not fun at all.

everything you described is generally attributed to youth.

the $10/day i spend is more than worth it imo. just like how people can justify spending hundreds every week on clothes. so to each their own.

thats exactly my thought.. If u get stoned then remember u have to goto class in a few hours and you have to do some asignment, not cool. At the end of the day, once you've got that A paper back, it can be awesome to kick back with a joint, a few beers and some music

ive stopped smoking pot i only smoke on road trips now, haha so ill be looking for an oz next week while im in van somebody PLEASE help a poor kid out ill pay around 180ish for it i know most of you can get it for around 150 so ud be making 30bucks or more and ill smoke you up!!! pm my ass if ur feeling kind :)

Pawt's definetly one of the more handlable addictions out there. Mary Jane takes good care of her advocates :) If I had the money, I'd probably smoke more, but at the same time I don't really like habituating any one substance too much. Smoking cigarettes is bad enough for me.

I find the term "pot-head" typically carries with it, negative connotations.
For example, I've frequently heard expressions "hey look at those lazy pothead stoners" , or worse "man you'll never get a good job or woman because you're a lazy pothead loser".
Most people who smoke cannabis I find , are open minded, peacefull, active, productive, healthy, and generally well educated ( I say generally because there's a difinitive amount of idiotic smokers who ruin the image for the rest of us ) .
Dealing with a natural herb that has yet to kill a single user from overdose, I find it nothing of a "bad thing".
And like anything else, I don't feel that anyone should have to smoke weed, or needs it. To each their own, as long as it doesn't harm anyone.

I am addicted to it, and I make no apologies for it.

I'm also addicted to chocolate, my computer, and I've been known to dabble in Vitamin C pills.

I personally think each one of those makes my life better.

As long as you control it and it doesn't control you...

The only time that I don't like it is when people are giving up potentially really fun stuff to do in order to smoke weed...

Personally I never touch the stuff but some of my best friends are pretty chronic...
